Team

The team block displays a grid of people, each with a photo, name, role, short bio, and optional links (social profiles, personal sites, and similar). Use it for "meet the team", "our leadership", or speaker/author listing sections.

Fields

Field Description Required?
heading Section heading shown above the grid. Placeholder example: "Meet the team". No
photo_url (per member) URL of the member's photo. No
name (per member) Member's full name, e.g. "Jane Doe". No
role (per member) Member's title or role, e.g. "Engineer". No
bio (per member) Short bio text. No
links (per member) A list of label/URL pairs (e.g. "LinkedIn" → a profile URL). Added one at a time with "+ Add link". No

Members are added and removed with the "Add member" button.

HTML safety

Every field on this block, including name, role, bio, photo_url, and each link's label and url, is escaped and rendered as plain text. All fields on this block are escaped as plain text; there is no raw-HTML field here.

This block also supports the standard appearance controls: background color, border, text color, padding, margin.

Using it

{{block:leadership-team}}

Typically placed on an "About" or "Team" page. It can also be used in a blog post as an "About the author" panel with a single member entry.

Example

An "About" page leadership section with two members:

photo_url name role bio links
/media/team/jsmith.jpg Jordan Smith Chief Executive Officer Co-founded the company in 2019 after a decade in enterprise sales. LinkedIn → https://linkedin.com/in/jordansmith
/media/team/apatel.jpg Aisha Patel Chief Technology Officer Previously led infrastructure at a Series C fintech startup. LinkedIn → https://linkedin.com/in/aishapatel, GitHub → https://github.com/aishapatel

Section heading: "Leadership". Because every field is escaped, a bio containing a raw <a> tag would show up as literal text, not a link. Use the links list, not inline HTML in the bio, for hyperlinks.
