Admin Tour

Once you’ve signed in, every part of the admin is one click away in the left sidebar. It’s organized in labeled groups (Content, Structure, Tools, Admin) plus a footer with your Account and Logout. Here’s the walk.

Dashboard

Your landing screen: the build status panel (in-progress / last built / failed / blocked states) with the dispatch buttons for incremental and full builds, plus quick links into the content screens.

Content: what visitors read

  • Pages: the static content that forms your site’s tree (with nested parents).
  • Posts: your dated blog/news entries, with excerpt, tags, sticky flag, and scheduling.
  • Media: the uploads library: images with alt text, size, dimensions, and usage.
  • Documents: published files and downloads.
  • Authors: people credited for content, with a suggestion list you can type in each post.
  • Categories: the category archive groupings for posts.

Structure: reusable building pieces

  • Blocks: the reusable shortcode pieces; simple and structured types.
  • Library: the block-library screen.
  • Stacks: sequences of blocks to use as a unit, with revisions and diffs.
  • Snippets: small code chips injected in the head/body of pages.
  • Navigation: header/footer and other menus from your theme’s declared slots.
  • Forms: embeddable forms and their submissions.
  • Redirects: old-URL toward a new destination; test redirect chains.
  • Block Types: the registry that decides which block types exist.

Tools

  • Calendar: the content calendar showing scheduled pages and posts.
  • Translations: track language coverage with in-editor cues; bulk auto-create missing locales.
  • Trash: everything soft-deleted, with restore and permanent delete. A count badge shows when it holds something.

Admin (administrators only)

Everything in this group appears for admins and stays hidden for other roles:

  • Settings: the General, Security, Integrations, Email, Backups, and related tabs (each subpage lives under the same linked tab area: settings, API keys, backups).
  • Themes: select, clone, and edit templates.
  • Design Tokens and Design Briefs: reusable tokens and reference HTML/CSS for visual direction.
  • Users: the user list with suspension, session screen, auth history.
  • Webhooks: outbound delivery endpoints and their logs.
  • Jobs: background batch jobs.
  • Health: the system dashboard with DB/output/disk checks, plus tabs for events, 404 log, audit log, and auth log.
  • Docs: built-in reference documentation covering themes, blocks, MCP, media, and the API reference.

At the sidebar bottom: My Account (your profile: display name, timezone, avatar, password, linked SSO, admin language and theme, and your own sessions) and Logout.

Signals to know

  • Trash count badge: the sidebar shows you how many items sit in the Trash at a glance.
  • Air-gapped mode banner: if the instance is running air-gapped, a prominent tag appears above the sidebar, alerting you (it affects remote tools, webhooks, and SSO configuration).

Working in your language

The entire interface ships in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Pick yours under My Account, so each person on the team can use their own.
